Spring is always the best time to spring clean.  Usually we focus on our home when we do this to remove all the cobwebs from winter.

Spending some time to review your bookkeeping processes can be just as rewarding which will end up saving you time down the track so that you can go out and enjoy the sunshine that’s coming our way!

Here are a few tips to point you in the right direction:

• Migrate to cloud based Accounting Software if you haven’t already

• Review your day-to-day admin & bookkeeping procedures for efficiency

• Organise your receipts and bills by going paperless

• Separate your business and personal transactions

• Assess whether you need job management software

• Review how you are paying your sub-contractors

• Assess whether you need bookkeeping training / mentoring or whether you out-source the task
